Bay BabyApply to adopt me!
Bay Baby came to us via the Yuma Humane Society, when they found her abandoned in a Yuma Motel. Can you imagine how scared she must have been?
Baby (for short) is an 11-year-old American Pitbull Terrier mix weighing 60 lbs. She gets her name from her sweet disposition. Baby has adjusted quickly in her foster home and is a near perfect companion!
Baby has a laid back, quiet personality that would do well in almost any household, whether it's with older kids playing or a couch companion watching TV. She sometimes gets nervous with new people and just needs an introduction with some time to get used to them. Baby will then give you lots of kisses to let you know that she is ready for love!
She is very well-behaved and hardly barks. Baby gets along well with the dogs and cats that have been in her foster homes, but would do best with a slow introduction to new pets.
Baby loves to go for car rides. Doesn’t matter where or how long — she is up for it! She also really enjoys walks and gets so excited that she does a little dance! Bonus: She is very easy to walk!
She also likes to play fetch and has her favorite toys, although sometimes she takes a detour bringing it back and wants you to come get it.
Baby is perfectly housetrained and uses a dog door or stands by the door when she needs to go out.
Baby is very gentle with giving back toys and taking treats, but we are watching her food and treat intake, as she’s working towards her pre-covid body!
