BulletApply to adopt me!
Bullet came to us with six of his closest friends. They needed to find a new place to call home after life dealt their owner some tough circumstances. Divorce is hard for everybody, but especially for an 10 year old Chihuahua that has lived in the same home his whole life.
Bullet, who’s just over 5lbs, has been described as the “policeman” of the group of 7 dogs surrendered together. He just knows the right way to behave and expects his companion dogs to follow the rules! No shenanigans on Bullet’s watch!
If he has another dog in his new home, it should be one that’s easygoing and not too annoyed by Bullet wanting to be the boss. In Bullet’s view, someone’s got to be in charge, it might as well be him.
Bullet’s shy around new people, but will warm up over time. He would thrive with a patient and understanding owner who gives him time to adjust and trust on his own timeframe.
Bullet would be best suited in an adult only home, as those human youngsters just move too fast and unpredictably!
