MilaApply to adopt me!
Mila came to us via Maricopa County Animal Care and Control. where she had been returned a few times because her owner was moving or lived in an apartment with size limits or just didn’t have time for her.
Mila is a 4-5 year-old Shepherd/doberman pinscher mix weighing approximately 60 lbs. She has been with her foster parents since March and has been the sweetest thing ever. Now that she has been sufficiently decompressed — she is ready for adoption!
Mila is incredibly smart, a fast learner, the perfect lady, and wants nothing more than to please her humans. She is high energy and wants to be the life of the party.
But she also knows how to relax, loves pets and snuggles, and enjoys napping at your feet. Due to her size she would probably would do best in a home with older kids and an active lifestyle.
Prior to staying with her foster parents, Mila hadn’t had much interaction with other dogs. But she has gotten along wonderfully with her five (yes, 5!) foster brothers — two Dobermans, two bulldogs, and a Yorkie. Mila completely ignores the two kitties in the house. With the proper intro, she should do great with other dogs. Mila is also crate-trained and knows some basic commands.
BONUS! Mila’s foster dad is a dog trainer and is happy to work with her forever home on a dog intro.
Mila is looking for a forever home that is committed to continuing her training and socialization with other dogs.
