Tangelo

Tangelo spent a couple weeks as a stray at Maricopa County Animal Care and Control, but she didn’t let that get her down.

Sweet Tangelo, or Tangy for short, is an 11-year-old Labrador Retriever/Chesapeake Bay Retriever mix who has been an excellent house guest in her foster home.

Tangy currently spends her days hanging out with dogs, a cat and a small child and loves every second. In fact, she’d do well with another dog in the home so she doesn’t get lonely or a human at home during the day to keep her company.

Tangelo is hearing imparied, so nothing much bothers her while she finds nice napping spots throughout the house. When it’s dinner time though, she will be sure to come and find you because this girl likes to eat! She gets a little eager with treats too, so be sure to use a flat hand when you hand her one. Tangelo is for sure a special girl, so get your adoption application in quickly!
