History

The first thing you’ll notice about Tank is his dramatic look. His beautiful merle coat and one blue eye are absolutely amazing. Tank is 14 years old and a little bit big for a chihuahua at 10 lbs.

Personality

Tank is a bit reserved and will need a little time to warm up to his new people, but when you gain his trust, he’s all yours.

Needs

Tank is going to need a very special adopter. His life expectancy is limited — probably 6 months to 1 year. There’s just no way to sugar coat that fact.

Tank has significant kidney damage, so his new adopter will need to commit to be vigilant for signs of kidney failure.

His ability to bring joy and meaning to his new family has no time frame. We are hoping for a sweet last chapter for our wonderful guy.
