Dottie

She's an adorable little chiweenie, who’s just perfect at only 6 years old and 16 pounds.

She snuck her way into our senior dog rescue with her good buddy Monkey. Dottie loves to go for walks, sleeps soundly through the entire night, and is a terrific snuggle buddy. She’s inquisitive with other animals she sees on her walks and will pull a bit to investigate, but is easily controlled.

Dottie is content to lounge on the pool chairs if you’re outside doing chores, or sitting on the back of the couch while you catch a movie on the TV.

Monkey

Is it a Gremlin? Maybe an ewok? No, it’s just our sweet little Monkey!

He’s a wonderfully sweet 9-year-old, 8-pound terrier (we think!) mix that loves to bask in the sun, take walks twice a day, and stay on the lookout for those pesky FedEx drivers.

He’s also very serious about his best friend Dottie and grooms her to show how much he loves her. He’s happy to lounge around the pool while you’re doing chores in the back yard, is perfectly potty-trained, and loves to snuggle up on the couch. Pretty amazing, right?
