Meet Auto — your future co-pilot in cuddles, snacks, and short neighborhood strolls! He is a 12-year-old Chihuahua mix at 17 lbs, who needs frequent short walks to help him lose some weight.
He is a charming boy whose previous owner, according to the landlord/surrender, was evicted and thus the landlord inherited Auto when he was left behind. The landlord took him into their home and integrated him into the household with three other dogs.
Before joining this temporary family, Auto had never lived indoors, so the whole “house life” thing has been a learning adventure. He was also neutered later in life, and because he didn’t grow up with a regular potty routine, he sometimes likes to leave his “signature” around the house. But Auto is a smart little guy — he’s diaper trained and does great wearing belly bands. He understands that potty time happens outside; the diaper just helps keep things tidy while he adjusts.
