Candy

Hello, friends!  My name is Candy and I am a 15lb 7 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel mix.  My owner passed away sadly, and the family reached out to Forever Loved to help find me my best forever home.  I have excellent house manners and I can be left alone without creating havoc or causing a neighbor to call me in for barking.  I’m just that awesome of a girl.  I’m reliably house trained, and will wait til we are out on a walk, or I’m outside to potty.  My foster says that sometimes when I’m out on leash I can get kind of snarky with other dogs, but I have been ok with a dog that I knew rather well.  So, yes, it’s fair to say that I can be picky about my doggy friends.  Quite frankly, I’m just as happy living alone with my human, so no other dogs is just fine with me!  I love to play with my stuffy toys, and given the opportunity to act like a wild dog, I will happily unstuffed them.  It is so much fun for me!  I am a girl who likes her space and doesn’t have to be right where you are all the time.  I can cuddle up next to you and sleep next to you, but I am not demanding of petting and attention.  I’m quite content to entertain myself, so life with me with be easy-peasy.  I can’t forget to tell you that I am a very healthy girl and got a clean bill of health from the vet! I am ok with kids and truth be told, I am just an adorable girl just happy to be your companion.  Can’t get much cuter than me, I say!
