Hemi

Hemi was found at the Mexico border on New Year's Eve.

We’re sure Hemi has quite a story to tell. Found at the border on New Year’s Eve with no one in sight. Was he dumped in his senior years, did he become frightened by NYE festivities and run away from home? We’ll never know.

Fortunately, loving rescuers in Tijuana provided a place for Hemi to land. He quickly charmed everyone he met and proved what a wonderful guy he is.

As a senior dog, his rescuers in Tijuana knew his chances for adoption were slim in their area. Enter Forever Loved! We are thrilled he’s here and know his new family is out there!

Hemi’s great with other dogs, wonderful with kids, and is a pro at doggie doors. He would be a perfect companion for lots of households: active empty nesters, families, young professionals.

Hemi is a perfect size; big enough to enjoy outdoor activities but not too big for couch snuggles. Hemi is a volunteer favorite: his gentle demeanor and wonderful temperament have touched all our hearts. We’d love to introduce you to Hemi and all his charms!

Hemi is 10-year-old, 37 pound Plott Hound mix.
