Madden

I came to Forever Loved as an owner surrender; they said they didn't have enough time for me, but I don't really understand that because I'm not a "needy" dog.

My name is Madden and I am a much loved 8lb dappled Doxie about 11 years old.

When I first came to Forever Loved, I was scared and a bit nervous, but in the loving care of my fosters, I've blossomed!

I love snuggling on a lap, and if you ever can't find me, I will be buried under a nice blanket!

I'm still learning to use a dog door, but if you remember to let me out regularly, I'm housetrained.

I love other dogs, I do well in the car, I'm a good eater, and did I tell you that I love training treats?

I had my dental done (so I'm missing a few teeth) and now I have minty fresh breath.  The vet said my health is good.

I will give an alarm bark when I hear something, but I quickly quiet, so I'm not a noisy boy.

Although I lived with kids, I'd appreciate any children in the house to be respectful and gentle.

I am sweeter than sweet, so if you are looking for a lap mate, and have another dog for me to gain confidence with, I'm your guy!
